FRINGE REVIEW: Lucky 9

T.G. Dawe is at his best in his presentation with an autobiographical monologue on the meaning and purpose of numbers, and how each human being’s personality is suited to a specific one. Dawe interjects loads of humor into his fast-paced monologue, as he discusses personal issues of society past and present, flipping from childhood to adulthood, and back again; moving quickly from subject to subject, with a satirical look at the craziness of life today, engulfing such subjects as parenting, economic crisis, social issues, human frailties. The audience is attentive and engaged as Dawe’s monologue gains momentum throughout the presentation, they sit in wonder at just what is going be said next.

Three and a half out of five stars.
