FRINGE REVIEW: Solo

A mesmerizing journey into the essence of connection, “Solo” is a tremendous work of artistry that should be seen by everyone! Performers Matt Chapman and Josh Matthews are superb physical performers, incorporating acrobatics, movement, props and personalities into a poignant investigation on the meaning of existence. Presenting the relationship of two Brothers as it’s starting point, the show quickly veers onto an autobahn where everything and anything is possible; a universe of magic and reflection where the audience always remains an active participant and contributor to the beauty. It’s to the show’s credit that such a weighty topic is presented in a light-hearted and thrilling manner, making the moments of reflection extraordinarily powerful. Piggy Winkie Doodle!

Five out of five stars.
