FRINGE REVIEW: Cocktales

You’ve probably never heard a vacuum talk dirty to a sofa, but CockTales kicks off with upholstery-themed jokes and pick-up lines that will make you look differently at your loveseat.  Keira McDonald and Sage Price share honest songs and stories about sex, relationships and life that everyone can relate to.  McDonald candidly recounts the legend of Frankencock and the pain of losing her virginity to a diving board.  This show deals frankly with delicate topics such as ED, “structural anomalies”, and dating men who wear skirts.  The audience gains the wisdom of miracle cures involving nutmeg and Listerine.  If you’ve got a soft spot for turkeys you might want to sit this one out, but anyone who has ever given, received or lost love should put CockTales on their list.

Four and a half out of five stars.
