Brittany Nybo | Coffee Barista/Corset Salesgal

Where: Downtown, ducking minus-40 windchill.

Hair: I cut it and dread it myself.  

Wearing: The boots are from Nightshade Corsets—I think they’re the Dolly 51 model in dark cherry patent leather. The pants are from Value Village—I think they cost about $7. I got the leather jacket there as well. The scarf I picked up from a leftover box in a house I moved into in Halifax. The bag is from Bootlegger. My frames are actually from Costco. 

Into: I’m kind of a big geek. I do a lot of reading: poetry, prose. I like Poe and Lovecraft. I also do a lot of sewing—I have a sewing machine and serger. That’s why I like going to Value Village. I pick something up there, and I just alter it if I get bored with it.
