Final Fantasy Six
An Owen Pallett walkthrough
- Had written the scores to a videogame, three movies, and two operas by the age of 21.

- Grew up in various locations in Ontario in a fractured family consisting of a church-organist father and 10 siblings and half-siblings.

- Is a member of the Blocks Recording Club, a Toronto-based music collective with a completely do-it-yourself and handmade approach to recording, packaging, and distribution–not unlike Montreal’s Constellation Records (godspeed you! black emperor, A Silver Mt. Zion).

- He Poos Clouds was recorded following three "simple" rules:

1. A set of songs that attempt to modernize each of the eight D&D schools of magic.

2. Every song will be written for string quartet and voice.

3. Nobody who listens to it will ever again entertain thoughts of suicide.

- Has collaborated with such luminaries as the Hidden Cameras, Jim Guthrie, and the Arcade Fire.

- Adopted the Final Fantasy name after the cult Japanese video game series, but admittedly doesn’t play them: "I like the idea of it, this big gay thing. The games are ridiculously overwrought and convoluted emotionally." (From a Pitchfork interview, 2005)
