Most Important Thing Ever Learned: Treat people the way you want to be treated.
Weirdest Songwriting Story: Our song Boneyard is one of the most popular songs in our set and its the title of our EP but it came together in a funny way. It started out as a keyboard line that our original keyboardist Vanessa and our original bassist Kelly were screwing around with. We were all really drunk at this particular rehearsal and we just started moving instrument parts here and there. The words wound up being a mishmash of ideas. Yet people really like the tune.
Favourite Summer Thing: Riding my bike. Ive got a 100 per cent custom Shovel Head. Theres been so much work done to it everyone calls it my Hardly Davidson. I havent had it on the road yet this year because it has a transmission leak that needs fixing.
Best Advice: I worked at a gas station at one point in time and my boss a guy named Perry told me I should always wear two gloves.
Favourite Hang Out: I call New City Likwid Lounge my living room. Im there between five and seven nights a week.
If You Werent Playing Music, What Would You Do: Im really interested in film. I worked on a series called Earth Voices for APTN for six months. The series was about native role models for aboriginal youth. I loved the experience and Id like to do more film and television work.
Favourite Teachers: I had two in school that I really liked. Mr. Quast taught Religion and Art and Mr. Romanchuck taught biology. They were both nice guys who were a little quirky.
Definition of Perfection: Doing something to the best of your abilities and constantly trying to improve yourself.
Favourite Movies: I have three. Nightmare Before Christmas, The Prophecy and Army of Darkness. Do you sense a theme here? I just love cheesy horror movies.
Superstitions: I dont really have any. Thirteen is my lucky number!
