Okay, you’re wondering what’s going on at NeXtFest, right? Well, until the festival winds down June 11, you can catch emerging artist installations at Col. Mustard’s, Conrad’s 124 St. Sugarbowl and in the lobby of the Roxy Theatre. But there’s so much more. Follow this simple guide to getting an eyeful of entertainment.

Body Language, by Heather Morrow.

Two scared kids, a dead girl and a blind date gone very very badly.

The Dirt on Mo, by Beth Graham.

Directed by Glenda Stirling and featuring Amber Borotsik, the dirt on The Dirt on Mo is that it involves dirt, a woman, secrets and Buddy Holly.

Coming Home, by Belinda Cornish.

Writer Belinda Cornish, Sophie Lees and Christopher Postle are three people whose lives collide. Directed by Sharla Matkin.

Things I didn’t Feel – The Thoughts of C.D. Hill, by Robert Fidler.

Never mind that this portrayal of a sad pathetic man is partially autobiographical, just sit back and enjoy someone else’s problems. Music by Ben Sures, directed by Brenton Bentz.

Girls; Blue

Theatre Zocalo presents Girls; Blue, created and performed by up-and-coming dance artists Katie Cuylere, Tamara O’Neil, Melissa Ostapchuk and Elizabeth Wilcox. The friendships of four teenage girls are put to the test in this dance production.

A Farewell to Kings – A Banger Play, by Stephen Massicotte.

Four headbangers head out in search of the ultimate party, set to a soundtrack including the likes of Van Halen, Sabbath, AC/DC and, of course, Rush.

Hear Me Out, by Louise Campbell and Querida Hills.

Enjoy 2 Pianos 4 Hands? Classical musicians speak even more in Hear Me Out. Four classical musicians speak, shout, hit stuff, move around and more in this production.

Tuesdays and Sundays, by Daniel Arnold with Medina Hahn.

Ahhh. Love at first sight. If only those feelings lasted, eh? Maybe they do. Some of it must. Daniel Arnold and Medina Hahn are a couple who tell all, a century later.

The Burner, by Stephanie Benger.

A graffiti piece on stage, The Burner follows home-body Drew, who’s stuck at home until she meets Justin, who shows her how to make art anywhere.
